His Promise

Hebrews 13:5 Let your way of life be without the love of money, and be content with such things as you have, for He has said, "Not at all will I leave you, not at all will I forsake you, never!"

How often are we aware of the promises that Jesus Christ made to all those who believe Him and follow Him. One promise that I think we all forget is when He said, ‘I will be with you, always.’ So when we are in every and any situation we need to remind ourselves of this, as well as to remind others as well. We should be on our guard and not chase after the world, but rather be reminded of what pleases Jesus.

You know yourself that there has been times when you should rather have prayed than spoken out in anger, where you should have thought that Jesus is a witness to your emotions and heard what you said. In the same way we live in the shadow of grace, for no matter how we act or react Jesus will fulfil His promise. Therefore we should always be reminded that His promise is for us.

Be encouraged today to consider what Jesus has promised you.
