Prayer Power

27 November  2012

Matthew 21:22 And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.

One must never under estimate the power of prayer and the resultant answers. We needed rain, so we prayed and we had lovely rain, a good soaking 45mm and this has filled the dam to half. We received a bill for rates from the local municipality, and on approaching them this will be reversed as we are still exempt from paying rates. We are reviewing all aspects of VAT and making sure what the right option is. So in all these things we see and consider how Jesus is answering our daily prayers.

When we really think about it, we start to realise that even before we pray Jesus is aware of our every need. So why should it be even surprising when prayers are answered? When we pray with the expectation that our prayers will be answered it changes our concept of prayer and it builds our expectations which in turn grows our faith that God answers prayer.

Be encouraged today to pray with expectation for those things that are on your heart.

David

Point to ponder: Jesus answers prayer.

Question to consider: Do you pray with expectation or doubt?
