St Mark's spreads a little cheer

The members of St Mark's gave generously at Harvest Festival this year. The church was a picture with many and varied vegetables and fruits strewn artfully for all to appreciate. But the Lord blessed these gifts and St Mark's has received letters of gratitude from both Guild Cottage and Means on Wheels. We print this correspondence for your interest and to serve as an inspiration to celebrate the joy of giving.

Letter 1:

Dear Members of St Mark's Congregation,

Thank you for the wonderful collection of fresh produce from your Harvest Festival which you kindly delivered to us on Monday, our children will thoroughly enjoy everything.

Your ongoing support of us is always appreciated.

May the Lord Bless you all abundantly.

Yours sincerely

PA Heslop
Director: Guild Cottage

(When we dropped off the boot full of fruit and veg, Trish the director, was thrilled and said the food would last for the rest of the week)

The fruits of the Harvest ... Guild Cottage and Meals on Wheels were beneficiaries

Letter 2:

Dear Friends

Thanks you for once again remembering us and our recipients and giving us that wonderful bounty from your Harvest Festival.

As I said to Sophia when she delivered all these wonderful vegetables and fruit, we were just about to go out and buy some.

Many thanks and God Bless

Love

Wena (Congregational Church: Meals on Wheels)
