Matthew 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age."
It is good news to realise and understand that you are not alone and that where ever you go, you do not go without company. When the days are dark and things are not going as they should we need to cling to the belief and knowledge that God is always with us, always present. In times when we have enough of everything and trouble seems far away the same is still true.
When we asked do you believe the Bible most of us would say yes, if we are asked do we believe the promises of God for us stated in the Bible, most would say yes, but when we want to apply what we have said yes too, we are filled with doubt. Why? The places we find ourselves in is not always conducive to our faith, and we are constantly being questioned, tested by those around us, this leads to doubt and self-doubt. To overcome this we need to remind ourselves of what we have said yes too, and then believe it. The One that dwells in us, is greater than the world, and He has promised that He would never leave us nor forsake us, no matter what. The question for you and I today do we believe this, that He is with us right now, in the place where we are reading this.
Be encouraged today to know that Jesus is Christ is with you always.
David
Point to ponder: Jesus Christ is always with you.
Question to consider: Do you believe what you say you believe?
