God's Creation

19 January 2012

Psalms 24:1 The earth is the LORD's and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein; for he has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the rivers.

The skies are heavy with dark low clouds, and the lands are dark lush green from the rains that had fallen, the cool breeze rustles through the leaves of the trees, yet there is a gentle peace covering Linga Longa as people go about their daily tasks. Some of the migratory birds have arrived adding to the already prolific bird life on the property. It is awesome to truly look at God in creation and wonder at the works of His hand.

Just the other day a tail feather from a paradise flycatcher was found, two feathers out of one follicle, it just makes one think of how amazing our God really is. All of this, and He knows it all, loves it all and in a way is in it all at the same time, what a God we serve. The secret of being a Christian is to be able  to see Christ in our present time, to be able to know Him in this day, to share all we do with Him in this day. Yesterdays are gone, tomorrows yet to come, we only have this moment to experience life with Jesus.

When we understand that just as God is in creation all around us to see and enjoy, how much more does He want to share with us His living presence with us in what we are doing today. Whatever you are going to do today, make a real effort to acknowledge that Jesus is with you, doing it with you.

Be encouraged today to enjoy God’s creation but even more so enjoy God’s presence with you in your today’s.

David

Point to ponder: Jesus is with you, no matter where you are or what you do.

Question to consider:  Do you enjoy God’s creation?
