Word from Faith Presbyterian Church in Huntsville!

More than 100 participants gathered for plenary sessions and workshops dealing with issues of stewardship last at the Big Tent event in the USA year . Keynote presenters Karl Travis, Rodger Nishioka and Michael O. Emerson offered insights and inspiration about both the spiritual foundation and current trends in giving and stewardship.

Otherwise look under Christian Links in the right hand column and click on Stewardship to be led directly to the site. The more ideas we get and the more we understand about Christian giving the better we will be able to serve St Mark's and the Lord.

Thank you Dave.

  1. Dear Dave. Are you from Huntsville. I found your suggestion to be an excellent resource. This has given us plenty to think about. Thank you for your input.

  2. Friends at St. Marks,

Some correction is needed here. I am an Elder at Faith Presbyterian Church. We are down the street from your partner First Presbyterian Church. We both are in Huntsville and belong to the North Alabama Presbytery which, I believe, is equivalent to your eGoli Presbytery.

Faith Church is actually twinned with Kensington United Church. I believe Kensington is down the street from you?

I "met" Geoff on Facebook and have been personally following your Marksman blog. From what I've seen you have a lovely facility and growing fellowship!

I am praying for your efforts as I am for Kensington's. As our four churches develop our two partnerships I want us to be carefully correct on our affiliations so we don't confuse people. I don't want to get in the way of your developing partnership with First Church. I have known Heidi, your contact at First Church, for years and she is a wonderful Christian! I believe she has also befriended Geoff on Facebook?

I will continue to personally follow you online and offer my prayers, thoughts and experiences as the Holy Spirit moves. I hope you will do the same for Faith's partnership with Kensington.

    Agape,
    Dave - Faith Church
