Marianne and her friend Mo Smuts attended their first Bible Study in the St Columbas "Hall" on Wednesday. Mo is a member there, but our WA secretary was just visiting to see how the neighbours went about things. Marianne and Mo came away impressed.
They were the "youngsters" on the team, but age was no a factor in the worship of the Lord.. The Study takes place once a month, but she and Mo have to meet once a week ahead of the next meeting to discuss the prescribed reading, which in this case the first 29 chapters of Genesis.
They now have draw up a list of matters that need clarification, which Stephen will then address. With Barbara MacMurray's study group in recess until March this has proved a worthwhile option for MrsVan Heerden.. But Marianne asked the scribe to assure all members of her group that she is not deserting the ship. She will be attending both groups this year. How about that!
